Rachel & George – A Timeless Lake Como Wedding at Villa Aura del Lago
Rachel and George chose Lake Como for its quiet elegance and understated romance. From the first moments of the day, the atmosphere felt calm and intentional. The wedding unfolded naturally - a slow morning by the water, sincere moments with family, and an evening that felt intimate rather than orchestrated. Our role as a wedding videographer in Italy was purely observational, allowing the day to flow without interference. We filmed in a documentary and cinematic style, using both film and digital to preserve the texture, light, and emotional rhythm of the celebration.
Their wedding took place at Villa Aura del Lago, an exclusive eighteenth-century villa set directly on the shores of Lake Como. Surrounded by a historic botanical park and a private two-hundred-meter stretch of lakefront, the estate offers a rare sense of privacy. Carefully preserved by four generations of the Guido family, the villa combines classical Italian architecture with discretion and comfort, making it an ideal setting for a destination wedding in Italy.
